She's Alive | Original Woman Rising Art

Some paintings take an afternoon. This woman rising art took years.

She started as one of the first Ladies paintings. I cut that first version apart and collaged it into this one, so she carries where she came from into where she's going.

It's an original in pastel, acrylic, plaster and collage on canvas, 24x48, signed, with a certificate of authenticity. The plaster is built up by hand, so it's textured wall art that rises off the canvas and catches the light differently through the day. At 2 by 4 feet, it's made for a tall wall: an entryway, a stairwell, beside a bookcase or between two windows. It's for the collector ready for a centerpiece, or a gift to mark a fresh start, a milestone birthday or a big anniversary. And yes, she's part of the Award-Winning Ladies series. The award was "Best Boobs."
